Nelleke van Thiel-Wortmann
Nelleke van Thiel-Wortmann studied law at the University of Amsterdam. She worked as a lawyer at Houthoff in Amsterdam, where she handled cases in the legal fields insurance, liability and employment. Subsequently Nelleke worked as legal policy adviser at the Royal Institute of Dutch Architects (BNA) with a focus on tendering, contracting and integrity.
Nelleke focusses entirely on business mediations, guiding negotiations and process counselling in commercial disputes. She is well established in the world of construction and infrastructure, the public sector, professional services and the health and welfare sector. Nelleke has a great deal of experience in employment conflicts, disputes in the area of employee participation and issues concerning commercial contracts. Furthermore she guides conflicts between organizations, within partnerships, management teams and project teams.
Nelleke teaches and publishes regularly about cooperation & decision making. She is member of the Association for Commercial Mediation (ZAM) and board member of the Association for Mediators in Construction and Infrastructure. She volunteers for De Regenboog, an organization that aides and supports people in poverty.
