Bénine van Huisstede-Zeijlstra
Bénine van Huisstede-Zeijlstra obtained her Masters degree in Law at the University of Amsterdam in 2013. She worked several years as a lawyer for a renowned labour law niche firm in Amsterdam. In this capacity Bénine gained a great deal of experience in the advisory and proces practice with regard to employment relations and issues.
Besides the legal aspects, the socio-psychological dynamics of employment issues have always had her interest. This drove Bénine to become a MfN registered mediator in 2018. Her decision to join ReulingSchutte per 2020 has resulted in a switch to full time business mediation in the field of employment and collaboration conflicts in the broad sense.
Since 2020 Bénine is the chairman of an independent dispute committee (‘geschillenloket’) of the government. She also gives hands-on workshop on conflict management. Bénine is a member of the Vereniging van Mediation Advocaten (NVVMA).
